History of Wedding Rings

A wedding ring has a strong heritage and is steeped in tradition across many religions and cultures. It is generally accepted as the symbol of marriage, commitment and fidelity, worn by both partners in the relationship, and usually given on the day of the wedding. Traditionally there were gold wedding rings were made in gold, but today they can be made in almost any precious metal including platinum, gold (white, yellow or rose), titanium, palladium... Wedding rings are usually plain, but they can be set with almost any type of diamonds, depending on different style and personal taste
